Questions and answers

The subordination of Inbank’s subordinated bonds means that, in the event of Inbank’s liquidation or bankruptcy, claims arising from these bonds will be satisfied only after all unsubordinated claims (e.g. deposits received, loans taken, and obligations to employees and suppliers) have been satisfied in full. In the order of priority of claims, only holders of Inbank’s Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bonds and Inbank’s shareholders rank below the holders of subordinated bonds. Investors in Inbank’s subordinated bonds must also consider the risk of write-down or conversion of liabilities (bail-in risk), which may materialise if resolution measures are applied to Inbank in the event of insolvency or other financial difficulties. If these risks materialise, investors may lose their entire investment.
All private investors and companies in Estonia are eligible to subscribe to the bonds at issue. To do so, you need a securities account, which can be opened with any major Estonian bank that is an account operator of Nasdaq CSD.
In the event of oversubscription, Inbank may increase the size of the offer by issuing up to 10,000 additional bonds. This would raise the total volume of the issue to 20,000 bonds, amounting to €20 million in total.

Yes. Inbank withholds 22% income tax on interest payments made to Estonian residents who are natural persons.

If you acquire the bonds from the funds held in the investment account or pension investment account and wish to defer your income tax liability, please submit the application available on Inbank’s website at least 15 days before the interest payment date. This ensures that Inbank pays the interest in full without withholding tax.

Income tax is not withheld from interest payments made to legal entities and non-residents.
